Since alot of changes happen to SQL 2005 SP2 (engine 3042), there are cumulative update packages released every now and then.
The current is package 3 : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/939537 (engine 3186)
Soon new update package 4 to be released ; http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/941450 (oct 2007)
So please have a look at them and don't only check service packs.
Also something nice I'd like to share with you is SQL internals viewer ; This is a part of SQL you don't normally get to see (physical allocation to the file)
http://sqlinternalsviewer.com/ - freely available download
SQL Internals Viewer is a tool for looking into the SQL Server storage engine and seeing how data is physically allocated, organised and stored.
